Usage Data

When you visit our websites, so-called usage data is temporarily evaluated on our web server for statistical purposes in order to improve the quality of our websites. This data record consists of:

  • the name and address of the requested content,

  • the date and time of the request,

  • the amount of data transferred,

  • the access status (content delivered, content not found),

  • a description of the browser and operating system used,

  • the referral link indicating from which page you accessed ours.

The legal basis for processing usage data is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The processing is carried out in the legitimate interest of providing the content of the website and ensuring an optimized display for devices and browsers.

Storage of IP Address for Security Purposes
In addition, we store the full IP address transmitted by your web browser strictly for a specific purpose for a period of seven days, in the legitimate interest of detecting, limiting, and eliminating attacks on our websites. After this period, the IP address is deleted or anonymized. The legal basis for this processing is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Data Security
To protect your data from unwanted access as comprehensively as possible, we take technical and organizational security measures. We use an encryption procedure on our websites. Your data is transmitted from your computer to our server and vice versa via the internet using SSL encryption. You can usually recognize this by the closed padlock icon in your browser’s status bar and the address beginning with https://.

General Inquiries

You have the option to contact us via email for general inquiries. When you reach out to us, we process only the data you provide in your email (e.g., first and last name, email address, and the content of your inquiry).

This data is used based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR to respond to your request. If your inquiry is for business purposes and required for the performance of pre-contractual measures or the fulfillment of a contract, your data will be processed based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.

Your data will only be processed for the purpose of responding to your inquiry. We delete the data when it is no longer required and there are no statutory retention obligations.

For processing based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, you have the right to object at any time. Please send your objection to the email address provided in the legal notice.

Unless otherwise stated regarding the retention period, we delete personal data when it is no longer necessary for the aforementioned processing purposes and no legitimate interests or other (legal) retention obligations prevent deletion.
